Imagine a place with great history and unique tradition. Crete is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean. Its coastline is 1.100 km and the population is about 600.000.Two-thirds of the island is mountainous with 57 peaks more than 2.000 high. The island is completely covered with greenery. In Crete we have a well-developed agricultural industry, which consists of 13 million olive trees, vineyards and many countless citrus groves.

More than 300 sunny days a year. Mountains, located in the center of the island, do not let the wind blowing from the Libyan Sea, and all northern resort towns and townships have shores of sand. The official tourist season on the island lasts from early May till early November. The hottest month on the island – in August, the day temperature in the shade can reach 35 °C.
